Temple Newsam Home Farm, Leeds
Temple Newsam is home to a range of rare breed sheep and is where I source a lot of my rare breed wools from. The yarn is now available in their courtyard Gift Shop along with a range of knit kits for you to choose from. The farm, house and estate provide a brilliant day out, so go and visit, see if you can spot the sheep and head to the gift shop to see their wool!
Ginger Twist Studio, Edinburgh
Ginger Twist Studio is a beautiful yarn and fabric shop in Edinburgh, Scotland, where my yarns are available along with a range of British wools. A great option for locals and visitors to the city to pop in and have a squish!
Craft and Canvas, Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire
Craft and Canvas is an arts, crafts and yarn shop in the centre of Hebden Bridge, only a short walk from my own studio. Greg and the team share a passion for British wool which sits amongst a big range of other high quality arts supplies. Call in and enjoy!
Feline Wood Craft, Todmorden, West Yorkshire
Feline Wood Craft aka Interesting Stuff is a real hidden gem, packed with treasures situated just off the Rochdale Canal (as is my own studio a few miles further along)! This shop and cafe has a special place in my heart after I called in one winters afternoon, having only recently arrived in the area on our narrowboat where we'd moored up nearby. I was instantly welcomed with a hot drink and scone and left hours later feeling warm and fuzzy and like I was a part of the family! Wonderful people and a wonderful place, open weekends only from Spring to Christmas. You'll find my yarns and carded wool there along with lots of other creations from both local artisan makers and others from around the world.
