Peg Loom Weaving Guidance
Peg loom weaving is a simple and therapeutic weaving technique, and with chunky wool you can create a small mat within two or three hours! I run workshops to teach this technique for anyone who likes to learn in person.
I have developed this 10 page Peg Loom Weaving instructions booklet over the last few years of learning and improving on this craft. It guides you through all the steps from washing a fleece (a step that many people understandably prefer to miss out and work with pre washed fleece or carded wool), warping the loom, weaving, getting the size you'd like, and tying off. It also explains variations of this technique that can be used to make headbands and cowls, coasters, bags and cushion covers. And it finished with links and information for further resources.
If you are looking to buy a loom and wool this guidance also comes with my Peg Loom Kits in a separate listing, or can be added to a purchase of my Peg Looms.
You can choose to buy an emailed PDF or a physical printed booklet that can be posted to the UK. For overseas postage please get in touch for an amended price.
