Peg Loom Weaving Guidance Bundle: Regular & Circular
Peg loom weaving is a simple and therapeutic weaving technique, and with chunky wool you can create a small mat within two or three hours! I run workshops to teach this technique for anyone who likes to learn in person, check out my Workshops page (based in Northern England).
I have developed two 10 page Peg Loom Weaving guidance booklets over the last few years of learning and improving on this craft. Buy the two together for the best price!
The first covers regular peg loom weaving. It guides you through all the steps from washing a fleece (a step that many people understandably prefer to miss out and work with pre washed fleece or carded wool), warping the loom, weaving, getting the size you'd like, and tying off. It also explains variations of this technique that can be used to make headbands and cowls, coasters, bags and cushion covers. And it finished with links and information for further resources.
The second covers circular weaving, which can be done using a different technique on the same peg loom. This is a brilliant option for those who have already got to grips with peg loom weaving and would like to expand their options for working on the peg loom. The booklet guides you through all the steps, starting with a maths refresher and explanation of how we use pi in this technique! It gives example calculations to show you how to calculate the warp length needed for each peg, and guides you through warping, weaving and tying off. It finishes with links and information for further resources.
If you are looking to buy a loom and wool the first booklet comes with my Peg Loom Kits in a separate listing, or can be added to a purchase of my Peg Looms.
You can choose to buy an emailed PDF or a physical printed booklet that can be posted to the UK. PLEASE NOTE: THE PDF VERSION IS NOT AN INSTANT DOWNLOAD LINK. It will be sent via email the same or next day (just as soon as I am online to check my orders and send it).
For overseas postage please get in touch for an amended price.
